Indicator holders, brackets, complete kits. Most are variable geometry "universal" design, with no diameter limit, attaching rigidly to shaft or coupling hub with stainless steel band strap. Inch and metric versions, with back plunger or AGD-1 indicators, as desired (U.S. Patent 4,367,594).

Measurement accessories. Lightweight indicator contact point extensions, range doubler, slide block mounts.

Low-cost laser alignment kit. With our $25 information package, you can build it yourself for $700. Zero sag, and about the same usable accuracy as commercial laser alignment kits, but slower. Entirely manual operation--no programmed slaved mini-calculator or linearized target.

Machinery alignment plotting board. Compact graphical calculator handles more types of alignment calculation than most electronic models, at a fraction of their price--$35 and never needs batteries!

Shim pliers. The easy way to keep pre-cut shims evenly stacked when inserting them under machines.

Hydraulic wedge -- lifts 60 tons, with only 3/16" collapsed height.

Alignment Thermal Growth Measuring Systems

Transferable back-zeroing laser/target mounts (U.S. Patent 5,077,905). These improve economics and/or accuracy when used with Hamar, Permalign®, Combi-Laser, or Digilaser-Combi equipment. Can usually be installed during machine operation.

Vernier-strobe system (U.S. Patent 4,928,401). Measures hot running alignment at shaft centers. Used on machines that are easily stopped and started, and have metal disk couplings or grease lubricated gear-type couplings. Coupling modification or disassembly not required. Also measures shaft axial growth.

Dutchmen. Tapered filler rings to relieve pipe strain on flanged machines. Same day shipment for emergencies, for standard sizes in small quantities.

Dial Indicator And Precision Tool Repairs

We can have your dial indicators, micrometers, etc. expertly overhauled, at considerably less than replacement cost. For the popular Starrett 196B1, B&S 7039, and similar back-plunger indicators, we return them in our own shock-mount, reusable containers, usually on an immediate-exchange basis.
